Traditional handmade olive oil soap, unscented, Seamuse

Unscented, cold-processed olive oil soap for sensitive skin. This soap is made with organic extra virgin olive oil from the olive groves of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. It has a high olive oil content and a small addition of castor oil and coconut oil to improve lather and the feeling of cleanliness on the skin. It does not contain aromatic or colouring ingredients,it is a great choice for sensitive skin with allergic tendencies and also for children. It can be used on the body, hair and face.

The traditional method of natural handmade soap is a product with a relatively high alkalinity (pH about 8). This means it takes a period of adjustment of the scalp having a natural pH of around 5 to see shiny and silky hair. This period is usually 10 days of use. Using 10% apple cider which restores the pH, helps a lot. After the adaptation period, it is not necessary to continue the use. You can have the same effect by using a hair conditioner at the end of the wash.
